Homecoming Worship!

Welcome home, Middle family! As we begin our 2024-2025 programming year, we have a beautiful Homecoming worship planned at Judson Memorial Church. This bold celebration will proclaim God’s fierce love, inviting our East Village community, the rest of New York City, and the world, “Come home to love.”
We will worship twice, at 11:45 a.m. ET. online and 3 p.m. hybrid.
Before the 3:00 pm worship, there will be an in-person community fair at 2:00 pm, right in front of Judson, where you can meet small group leaders to get signed up for our community groups; and we will have food and fellowship.
After worship, say for our congregational meeting to get NEW information on what’s happening at Middle, and the building process.
Not in NYC? The 11:45 a.m. worship will be on YouTube, followed by an online community fair.
As our choir sings, and Rev. Dr. Jacqui Lewis preaches, we’ll also be rejoicing in a new step toward our rebuilding. This year, we are looking forward to re-entering our building at 50 E. 7th Street. This will create space to house our Freedom Rising justice programs, and offer our community room to gather that’s all our own while we move toward building a new sanctuary.
In spite of the fire, it’s remarkable what you have accomplished over the past years! But truly, that is just our foundation for the justice and joy to come. Join us online or in-person, and let’s start a new year with jubilation.
