GULF COAST
Middle Church volunteers and our friends from the Collegiate Churches committed to the just rebuilding of New Orleans following Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. Our journeys to the Gulf Coast included rebuilding homes with ACORN, working with social services facilities in the 9th and 7th Wards and a brief tour by our Middle Church Jerriese Johnson Gospel Choir to St. John #5 Faith Church and the Douglass High School. In cooperation with Collegiate Church, Middle has produced two documentaries in the Gulf Coast, Untold Stories and Hope In New Orleans. View clips on this site (Inside Middle/Media Library). DVD copies are available at the Middle Store, opened Sundays following Worship Celebration. For more information, contact kfarrell@middlechurch.org, Kate Farrell.
